Hi, I'm Kenzi.

Freaks’ is an antique and home brand that champions the odd, the one-of-a-kind, the quietly rebellious. Most of what you’ll find in the collection has lived many lives before arriving in the shop; everything new is made by either women or queer makers—or both, like me.

Freaks’ marks my shift to a visual storytelling medium, curating and sourcing vintage and antique pieces that build the foundation and the context for the world in which my design studio lives. 

As an antique dealer, my curiosity is constantly getting lost and found in pieces that I think are fancy and unusual—that are freaks—in their own ways. 

Every so often, I’ll get stuck on a historical form—an etch, a color, a pleat—that I think has even more to say. Made by Freaks’ are a series of pieces, designed by me, in pursuit of letting them say it.
